Fire Department
The Vermontville Fire Department was established in 1836 with a cooperative effort between the Village of Vermontville and Vermontville Township. It is now under the control of the Township. The department is made up of about 30 dedicated volunteers. New members are welcome.
Meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the fire station. Trained medical personnel are on duty at the fire station Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Non-emergency phone number for the fire station is 726-1269.

Siren Testing
Siren testing takes place at 7:00 p.m. on the first Monday of each month to begin the regular meeting

Annual Fireman's Dance is usually held in March.
